Gustavo Pimentel is a talented and accomplished New Mexico musician, playing guitar in such varied musical styles as classical, flamenco, and popular.  Gustavo  performs extensively in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He is also a gifted guitar instructor, capable of inspiring students of all levels.  In 1998, Gustavo released his first recording which won a 3-star rating. The album is entitled, "The Cosmopolitan Guitar".  In 2007, Gustavo's new album, "Amor Gitano" received recognition as the Best Music of 2006 by David Steinberg, Journal Staff Writer. Gustavo's talents are appreciated world-wide.  In the spring of 2003, he played several concerts in Helmstadt, Germany.
