Gustavo's first guitar wasmade
in 1972 by his father, Lorenzo Pimentel, and is made of Brazilian
Rosewood.
This 1965 Classical Guitar, made by
Lorenzo Pimentel, is known for its unusual rosette.
This 1984 Grand Concert Classical
Guitar was made by Gustavo's father, Lorenzo Pimentel. With it,
Gustavo won several scholarships for college.
This 1990 Brazilian Rosewood Grand
Concert guitar was made by Lorenzo Pimentel and was one of his own
personal guitars until he gave it to Gustavo.
This beautiful Classical Grand
Concert guitar was made of Ebony in 1991 by Lorenzo Pimentel.
Gustavo took this guitar with him to Mexico while he studied at
the prestigious El Estudio
de Arte Guitarristico in Mexico City and it remains one
of his favorites.
This 1996 Brazilian Rosewood Grand
Concert guitar was made by Lorenzo Pimentel.
Gustavo's newest guitar is this 2001 Classical Jazz guitar made by
his brothers, Rick and Robert Pimentel. The exquisite detailing on
this guitar commemorates the 50th Anniversary of Pimentel and Sons
Guitar Makers.
Gustavo is the proud owner of nine
guitars, all made by his family. Pimentel and
Sons Guitar Makers of Albuquerque, NM has been in the business of making
exquisite guitars for over 50 years.
